The Edwin H. Mookini Library provides various services to students, faculty, and staff of the University Hawai‘i System involved in distance learning. These services include access to online resources, course reserves, reference assistance, and instruction.

LILO (Learning Information Literacy Online) is a self-paced, web-based tutorial covering the research process.

A loan service is available if the UH library nearest you doesn't have the materials you need.

UH Hilo and HawaiiCC distance learners at other sites should consult with a librarian at their site library for more information about obtaining materials.

In special cases, books may be mailed to distance students and faculty.
